The Kheerganga trek starts from Barshaini and takes around 4 to 6 hours to reach the top. During the trek, you’ll see incredible views of the Himalayan mountains and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Once you reach the top, you can relax in the natural hot sulphur springs. These hot springs are well-known for their healing powers, and soaking in them is the perfect way to relax after the long hike. Kheerganga is a favorite spot for adventurers and nature lovers who want to enjoy a peaceful escape and connect with nature.

Itinerary

Your adventure starts at Barshaini, the base camp for the Rudranaag Trek. As you begin your journey, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the Parvati River, which is surrounded by lush deodar and oak forests.

You’ll trek along a peaceful 13-kilometre trail and make a stop at the beautiful Rudranaag Waterfall. This waterfall is famous for its snake-like shape and has special importance in local mythology. After visiting the waterfall, continue on to Rudranaag, an ancient and sacred site that attracts both trekkers and pilgrims.

After a rewarding day, set up camp and relax under the breathtaking Himalayan sky.


Wake up to the stunning views of the Himalayas as the sun rises. After breakfast, start your 6-kilometre trek to Kheerganga. Along the way, visit the famous Lord Shiva Temple, a must-see for every trekker.

Once you reach Kheerganga, enjoy a rejuvenating dip in the natural sulphur hot springs, known for their healing properties. After soaking in the peaceful atmosphere, it’s time to head back.

On your return, take it slow and enjoy the beautiful scenery, stopping at scenic spots to relax and take in the views. As you reach Barshaini, your trek comes to an end, leaving you with unforgettable memories of the towering peaks, lush forests, and the mystical beauty of Parvati Valley.

    In the evening, gather around the group bonfire. Enjoy the music and cozy vibes until 11:00 PM, making unforgettable memories.

  • Experienced Guide:
    Throughout your trek, an experienced guide will be with you, helping you from Barshaini to Kheerganga and back, ensuring you have a safe and enjoyable journey.

  • Stay:
    Relax and sleep in camps on a triple/quad sharing basis, with a common washroom to meet all your basic needs.

  • Trekking Insurance:
    Trekking insurance is not included in the package. We recommend getting your own travel insurance before the trip to stay covered for any unforeseen situations.

    Lunch is not provided as part of the package. You’ll need to bring your own or buy food along the way.

  • Personal Porter Charges:
    If you choose to hire a personal porter to carry your things during the trek, those costs are not covered by the package.

  • Bottled Water:
    You’ll need to pay for any bottled water you purchase during the trek. It’s a good idea to bring your own reusable water bottle.

  • Personal Expenses:
    Any personal spending, like shopping or tips for the guides, is not included in the package.

  • Cost Escalation:
    If the itinerary changes because of factors like landslides, bad weather, road blockages, or social/political issues, any extra costs will not be covered. Be prepared for unexpected changes that may affect your plans.

  • Rental Gear:
    If you need to rent gear, such as trekking poles or rain coat, the cost for these rentals is not included.

Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation voucher from Yatratrail via email within 24 hours.

If your preferred time slots are unavailable, don't worry! We will find an alternate schedule that works for you. Once we have the new schedule, a new confirmation voucher will be sent to your email with all the updated details.

  • If you cancel your trip 15 days or more before the scheduled date, you will be charged 50% of your advance payment as a cancellation fee.
  • If you cancel your trip within 7 days of the scheduled date, you will be charged 100% of your advance payment as a cancellation fee.

  • Take Time to Adjust:
    The weather at high altitudes is different from the plains. Make sure to take your time to adjust and get used to the higher elevation.

  • Changes in Itinerary:
    In case of emergencies or natural disasters, the trek may be modified. The management reserves the right to change the trek details as needed.

  • Listen to the Guides:
    For your safety, always pay attention to your trek guides and instructors.

  • Water Conservation:
    Water is precious on the trek, so please conserve it whenever possible.

  • No Earphones:
    Avoid using earphones while trekking. This could prevent you from hearing important sounds, like warnings from the guides.

  • Respect the Environment:
    Please avoid using plastic bags. Help keep the area clean and protect nature.

  • ID Check:
    Make sure to bring a valid ID for check-in.

  • Location Details:
    The exact meeting point will be shared with you after you book the trek.

  • Transportation:
